Hey everyone, we've got two 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 to share with you!

Firstly, after many years of dedicated service to the festival and the community, Boris and Nina are passing the torch as facilitators. They will now be joining us as participants with their lovely family. And don't worry, Boris will still be rocking the Kirtan nights! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for entrusting us with their legacy. We are excited, eager and are committed to carry it forward while adding our own flair.

The 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 consists of Katharina, Eva, Julia, and Iris. You of course all know Katharina, who has been involved in organising the Nordic Acroyoga Festival for many years. You likely also know Julia and Eva, who have been part of the festival as teachers for the last few years and have gradually become part of the organizing team. Lastly, there's Iris, who some of you may remember from the 2019 festival. However, she's best known as one of the facilitators of the Danish Acroyoga Festival.

𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 the Danish and Nordic Acroyoga Festivals into one spectacular event starting in 2025! Bringing together two incredible festivals and communities, aiming to create one unified Nordic festival that celebrates the diverse people and communities across the northern region. The Mundekulla Retreat Center will host this wonderful event. And don’t worry, we're preserving the best of the Nordic Festival while blending the finest aspects of both events!

Now, we have some bittersweet news: 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. But fear not! We're using this time to prepare for an unforgettable 2025 launch. Stay tuned for the specific dates, which will be announced soon! In the meantime, we invite you to join the Danish Acroyoga Festival, which will take place this summer for the last time before the merger.

So, dear Nordic Acroyoga community, we sincerely hope that you will join us on this exciting journey, and join in the festivities of the new Nordic Acroyoga Festival in 2025!

All the best, from your new facilitator crew,

Katharina, Eva, Julia, and Iris

meeting in the magical forest...

In beautiful småland

The magical Mundekulla in Southern Sweden has always been the home of Nordic Acroyoga Festival!

"Mundekulla is an ecological course and retreat center in the countryside of Småland: The place where also the famous botanic Linnaeus and Pippi Longstocking come from. At Mundekulla people come together for courses, conferences and festivals, from 15-200 people, on personal development, mindfulness, creativity, nature and of course: beautiful nourishing food."

frequently asked questions

➽ Do I need to have experience to participate in this festival?

NO. You can come as a completely beginner. There will be workshops for all levels. Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced. Everybody welcome.

➽ Can I bring my pet? dogs? cats? birds? spiders? snakes?

Nope. No pets allowed in the retreat center. Even if they are part of your family :)

➽ I don't speak Swedish... can I enjoy the festival anyway?

YES. The workshops are going to be leaded by international teachers. The main language will be English. And because of geographical reasons, the second option will be a mix of Swedish/Norwegian/Danish/Finish...

➽ I am going with car, can I share the ride with somebody?

Please share your rides in the Facebook group for travellers:

www.facebook.com/groups/NordicAYFTravellers

➽ Do I need to come with a partner to the workshops?

NO. We work with all the people creating groups with different numbers. Very normal to work in groups of 3. If you have a friend which you really want to work with, well.. even better!

➽ Can I participate with physical limitations?

Basically, the participation is entirely at your own responsibility. Advanced acrobatics workshops or an intense morning yoga class are only partial aspects of AcroYoga. Equally important are thai yoga massage, therapeutic flying, singing and gathering.

These offers may be for the vast majority of people. No one is excluded because of his physical health and can still have a good time in the festival.

➽ Can I bring the whole family?

Everybody is welcome to join. But is good to say that there are not going to be planned activities for children. So as a parent you need to take care of your child during the workshop sessions.

Important: We offer a 50% partner discount when you come as a family and both of you can't be in all workshops.

➽ How do I get to Mundekulla departing from my city?

The best way is to follow Mundekulla's advice.

Check here for details:
www.mundekulla.se/en/about-us/how-to-get-here-19141760

➽ Am I going to have free time for JAM?

YES. Jamming is an essential part of AcroYoga. It is in the schedule free time for jamming every day. Yes, EVERY DAY.

Our new Team.

This group isn't merely a team; it's a family. Nina and Boris, affectionately known as Acrobhakti, are regarded as the Acroparents by many. Now, the younger generation is stepping up. While we'll name the organizers here, everyone involved—whether as teachers, volunteers, or participants—is considered part of our family. It's the collective effort of each and every one of you that makes this festival truly special.
